Abstract

Abstract A submersible urn, preferably spherical in shape for containing cremated remains for burial at sea is disclosed. The urn is constructed with an air vent at the top, ballast at the bottom, and a water inlet port whereby water may enter the urn so that it will sink. The urn is constructed of a degradable material whereby chemical action of the water in which it is submerged will dissolve it over a period of time.
