Abstract
Abstract Electrochemical cells involving an assembly of opposite polarity electrodes having bared carrier portions projecting respectively at opposite ends of the assembly with current collectors welded respectively at opposite ends of the assembly to the bared projection carrier portions of the electrodes with accompanying emmbedment effected during welding under pressure of said bared portions into projections provided on the current collectors.
