Abstract
Abstract An improved method for potting plasticized, acetylated cellulose hollow fibers is disclosed wherein an improved bond between the cured resin and the fiber results when the resin comprises a polyepoxide resin, from 6 to 100 phr of an aromatic amine and from 0.5 to 5 phr of a thixotropic agent. The thixotropic agent imparts desirable application characteristics to the uncured resin and, particularly, minimizes wicking.
