A hair brush having a head portion, and set therein a plurality of pairs of bristles, substantially evenly distributed over said head portion, the bristles in each pair being of two different lengths, each pair of bristles being constituted by a single strand of material, folded upon itself about a point spaced from the mid-point of said strand, thus producing an equal number of short and long bristles, said head portion having said pairs of bristles individually fastened thereto.
