Abstract

Abstract Olefin-maleic anhydride copolymers are provided wherein a portion of the anhydride moieties are converted to thio anhydride moieties. Other thio derivatives are also provided including the thio acids. These compounds are effective as stabilizers in vinyl type resins, particularly vinyl chloride polymers and can also serve as chelating agents.
