Abstract
Abstract Benzoylhaloalkanesulfonanilides having ring substituents selected from amino, nitro, carboxyl, mercapto, phenylsulfinyl, phenylsulfonyl, lower alkylsulfonamido, lower alkanoylamino, lower alkylthio, lower alkanoyloxy, lower alkylsulfamoyl, lower alkylsulfonoxy and lower haloalkylsulfonoxy. These compounds and salts thereof are active anti-inflammatory agents and some also have anti-pyretic and analgesic activity.
