Abstract
Abstract A ready-to-eat breakfast cereal impregnated with a nonheatdegraded liquefied peanut butter is produced by preparing a cereal base, drying the base to below 14 percent by weight moisture, permeating the dried base with liquid peanut butter, and further drying the permeated base.
