Abstract IN A COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE HAVING A CURVED PHOSPHOR SCREEN, AN APERTURES SHADOW MASK AND ELECTRON BEAM GENGATING MEANS FOR GENERATING THREE IN-LINE ELECTRON BEAMS ALIGNED IN A HORIZONTAL DIRECTION, THE APERATURES OF THE SHADOW MASK ARE ARRANGED IN INTERESECTING ROWS EXTENDING ALONG BARREL-SHAPED LINES EXTENDING IN THE HORIZONTAL DIRETION AND ALONG PIN-CUSHION SHAPED LINES EXTENDING IN THE VERTICAL DIRECTION, AN ALL OF THE ROWS ARE ORTHOGONALLY RELATED AT EACH OF THE INTERSECTIONS THEREOF.
