Abstract COLORED CEMENTS HAVING IMPROVED COLOR AND REDUCED EFFORESCENCE ARE PREPARED BY ADHERING TO A PORTION OF THE SURFACE OF A MAJORITY OF THE UNSET CEMENT PARTICLES A SURFACE-TENSION REDUCING AGENT AND/OR A DISPERSANT WHICH EFFECTS DISPERSION BY ESTABLISHING A COMMON CHARGE ON EACH OF THE CEMENT PARTICLES WITHOUT SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION IN THE SIZE OF THE PARTICLES.
