Abstract
Abstract Process for the production of a precoated metal which comprises laminating a film resin layer on the surface of a metal material through an intermediate layer comprising a radical curable resin and achieving unification of said laminated product by irradiating said laminated product from above with an electron beam having an energy capable of being transmitted to the surface of the metal material.

Claim 1
Independent Claim
115 words
A process for the production of a precoated metal which comprises coating the surface of a metal plate with a radical curable composition, placing a film composed of a synthetic resin in intimate contact with said radical curable layer and thereafter irradiating said laminated product with an electron beam having an energy of 0.1 to 3 MeV in a dose of 0.1 to 20 Mrad, said radical curable composition comprising a mixture of 30 to 100 percent by weight of at least one unsaturated polymer including 0.1 to 5 equivalents of carbon-carbon double bonds per 1,000 of the molecular weight of said unsaturated polymer and 70 to 0 percent by weight of a vinyl monomer.
