Abstract
Abstract A flanged bearing has a thin wall flexible bearing liner and end flanges formed as separate components. The flanges are attached to the liners by radial lugs on the inner peripheries of the flanges which engage in slots in the axial ends of the liner so that the curvature of the liner can vary with respect to the flanges. Outwardly projecting stakes are formed in the end edges of the liner to prevent the flanges disengaging axially from the liner while permitting limited axial float of the flanges with respect to the liner.
