Abstract ELASTOMERIC POLYURETHANE POLYMERS ARE PREPARED BY REACTING A POLYISOCYANATE WITH AN ORGANIC COMPOUND HAVING ACTIVE HYDROGEN ATOMS WHICH ARE REACTIVE WITH -NCO GROUPS AND BIS-(B-HYDROXYETHOXYPHENYL)METHANE AS A CHAIN-EXTENDER. THE ELASTOMERS HAVE GOOD PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AND IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO HYDROLYSIS.
