Abstract
Abstract An adsorbent such as activated charcoal after adsorbing a fluid such as dinitrogen tetroxide and placed into contact with a reactive, exothermally decomposing monopropellant such as hydrazine, generates sufficient heat to maintain the exothermal decomposition of the monopropellant.
