Abstract
Abstract Ferroelastic materials vary in their even-rank polar tensorial properties or similar anisotropic properties when they are shifted from one orientation state to another. A body of such ferroelastic material is combined with means for applying stress above a certain value thereonto to cause a transition of the orientation state.
