THEY ARE USEFUL AS INTERMEDIATES IN THE PREPARATION OF AMINOPROPYLIDENE COMPOUNDS WHICH ARE THEMSELVES USEFUL AS ANTIDEPRESANTS, AND AS ANTI-BACTERIAL, ANTI-PROTOZOAL, AND ANTI-ALGAL AGENTS.
