Abstract
Abstract a hand-operated dispenser for adhesive tape comprising a casing adapted for rotatably supporting a roll of adhesive tape, a more or less plane under-surface of the casing adapted to glide over the surface of the article to be taped, an inverted trough-shaped portion on the underside of the casing, located rearwardly with respect to the gliding surface, a slit-shaped opening for the tape in said trough-shaped portion, a bridge piece separating said slit from an opening for the lower end of a movable member adapted with its lower projecting end to impart pressure and a change of direction to the tape, and a knife placed forward of the trough-shaped portion with the knife edge pointing towards but ending above the plane of the under-surface of the case.
