Abstract
Abstract A fabric woven of polyolefin ribbons is used for ''''balling'''' or wrapping the roots of plants and trees and the like. The fabric of the invention comprises a woven material having a set, or series of deteriorable strips or yarns woven in at pre-selected intervals, to provide spaces or ''''windows'''' for passage of the roots to the fabric and into the surrounding soil.
