Abstract

Abstract In an electronic musical instrument having an upper keyboard for melody performance, a lower keyboard for chord performance and a pedal keyboard for bass performance, there is interposed a first gate circuit in the channel of the lower keyboard tone signals and a second gate circuit in the channel of the bass tone signals, and there is also provided a generator of rhythm pattern pulses which open the gate circuits in accordance with the rhythm pattern. On this instrument, chord and bass performance is carried out in desired rhythm pattern by merely depressing keys continuously instead of intermittently.
