Abstract

Abstract Cross-linked cellular plastics having either open or closed cell structures are prepared from chloronitrosylated hydrocarbon polymers, having a chlorine content of from 0.5 to 73 percent by weight and a nitrogen content of from 0.01 to 5 percent by weight. The resulting cellular plastics possess improved physical properties.
