Abstract APPARATUS FOR POLYMERIZATION OF E-CAPROLACTAM TO PRODUCE A POLYCAPROAMIDE POLYMER MORE RAPIDLY AND WITH THE EXTENT OF POLYMERIZATION FAR GREATER THAN HERETOFORE BY UTILIZING A VACUUM DEMOISTURIZING COLUMN WITHIN THE POLYMERIZATION TRAIN THAT UPON EXTRUSION OF SAID POLYMER THE VOLATILES ARE SUBSTANTIALLY ALL REMOVED BY AN ENTRAIN- MENT SEPARATOR MEANS WHEREBY AN IMPROVED POLYCAPROAMIDE POLYMER IS OBTAINED.
