A PROGRAMMER IS ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED BY A NUMBER OF CIRCUITS AND RELAYS TO A PROGRAMMER MOTOR, SOLENOID VALVES, A PUMP AND ACCESSORY AND MONITORING EQUIPMENT AND IS PRESET TO MAKE THE PROPER CONTACTS NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISHED ANY DESIRED SEQUENCE OF ELUENT ADDITIONS AND ELUATE COLLECTIONS AND TO MONITOR THE ELUATES BY A VARIETY OF INSTRUMENTS.
