Abstract WATER-SOLUBLE, ALKALINE CURING RESINS WHICH ARE THE REACTION PRODUCTS OF AN EPIHALOHYDRIN AND A POLYMER OF A DIALLYLAMINE ARE DISCLOSED. THE RESINS ARE PARTICULARLY USEFUL AS WET STRENGTH AGENTS FOR PAPER AND ADDITIONALLY GIVE SUPERIOR DRY STRENGTH TO PAPER.
