Abstract
Abstract Compositions, generally useful for germicidal detergent applications, comprising a mixture of (a) an amphoteric surfactant such as N-coco Beta -amino propionic acid or a fatty (coco) amido alkyl betaine and (b) an organophosphorus salt of the formula: WHEREIN R1, R2 and R3 independently are alkyl (C1-C12), phenyl, or hydroxyalkyl (C1-C4); x is 6-14 and X is an anion. Compound (b) is also useful, in aqueous or alcoholic solution, or with other cosmetically acceptable ingredients, in the control of dandruff.
