Abstract PROCESS AND APPARATUS ARE DISCLOSED WHICH RELATE TO THE USE OF WATER AND A LIQUID HALOGTNEATED HYDROCARBON IN TEXTILE PROCESSING. A DEVICE FOR RAPIDLY AND EFFICIENTLY SEPARATING THE TWO LIQUIDS IS DISCLOSED AND USES A GLASS WOOL CONTAINING COALESCER AND A TEFLON COATED METAL WATER SCREEN. A METHOD IS ALSO DISCLOSED FOR REMOVING THE SOLVENT FROM TEXTILES.
