Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO ACRYLOXY (OR METHACRYLOXY)ALKYL (OR ALKYLOXYALKYL) ORGANIC DICARBOXYLIC ESTERS PREPARED BY REACTING AN ORGANIC ANHYDRIDE WITH A HYDROXYALKYL ACRYLATE (OR METHACRYLATE) AND THEN REACTING THIS HALF-ESTER WITH A TERMINALLY-SATURATED GLYCIDYL ETHER OF ESTER. THESE COMPOUNDS ARE USEFUL IN COATING COMPOSITIONS AND ARE PARTICULARLY USEFUL IN COATING COMPOSITIONS CURABLE BY RADIATION.
