The method of eliminating dental plaque formation which comprises applying to teeth having plaque thereon, per unit dosage, from 1,000 to 200,000 units of dextranase produced by growing P. funiculosum NRRL 896 in a fermentation broth therefor at a suitable temperature for a suitable period of time and separating therefrom an enzyme having from 100 to 2,000 dextranase units of activity per milliliter of the fermentation broth.
Claim 3
Independent Claim
