Abstract

Abstract Thermoplastic blend of ABS, polyarylene poly-sulfone resin (e.g. condensation product of the dipotassium salt of 2,2-bis-(4hydroxyphenyl) propane and 4,4''-dichlorodiphenyl-sulfone), and bromo-aryl compound (hexabromobenzene or hexabromodiphenylether), with or without antimony oxide, is self-extinguishing, has high heat distortion temperature, and good processing characteristics.
