Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 133 words
In a dump bin formed of a one-piece sheet and an erected, four-sided tubular shape with a lower base and an upper tray to receive products for display therein, the improvement which comprises: four side panels projecting inwardly from the sides of the lower base; at least two top panels folded inwardly from the top of the sheet to form the upper tray; each of the side panels being partially severed from the side of which it is a part and being partially joined thereto; the side panels being provided with projections and the top panels being provided with slots to receive the projections such that when the tubular shape is erected, the inwardly projecting side panels interlock with the inwardly folded top panels to make the support for the upper tray stable.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 133 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 51 words
The invention of claim 1 wherein: there are four top panels; there is a projection on each edge of two opposite top panels; and there is a slot adjacent each edge of the other two opposite top panels to receive a projection and to impart further stability to the upper tray.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 28 words
The invention of claim 1, wherein the inwardly projecting side panels are scored and bent at an angle to make the support for the upper tray more stable.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 146 words
In a dump bin formeD of a one-piece sheet and an erected, four-sided tubular shape with a lower base and an upper tray to receive products for display therein, the improvement which comprises: four side panels projecting inwardly from the sides of the lower base; at least two top panels folded inwardly from the top of the sheet to form the upper tray; each of the side panels projecting inwardly from the base being partially severed from the side of which it is a part and being partially joined thereto; each of the side panels having a slot at one corner and a hook-shaped projection at the other corner to engage the slot in the adjacent side panel such that when the tubular shape is erected, the inwardly projecting side panels make the support for the upper tray formed by the inwardly folded top panels stable.
Claim 6
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 157 words
In a dump bin formed of a one-piece sheet and an erected, four-sided tubular shape with a lower base and an upper tray to receive products for display therein, the improvement which comprises: two side panels projecting inwardly from opposite sides of the erected tubular shape; four top panels being folded inwardly from the top of the sheet to form the upper tray; the side panels being severed from the sides from which they project and being connected to said sides by a pair of side gussets; each of two opposite top panels having a projection on the edge thereof; each of the other two opposite top panels having a slot adjacent the edge thereof to receive the projections; the upper tray being formed by the inwardly folded top panels which are cooperatively locked by the projections and slots and being supported by the inwardly projecting side panels to make the support of the upper tray stable.
Claim 8
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 127 words
In a dump bin formed of a one-piece sheet and an erected, three-sided tubular shape with a lower base and an upper tray to receive products for display therein, the improvement which comprises: three side panels projecting inwardly from the sides of the tubular shape; the side panels being partially severed from the sides from which they project and being partially joined thereto; three top panels folded inwardly from the top of the sheet to form the upper tray; the side panels being provided with projections and the top panels being provided with slots to receive the projections such that when the tubular shape is erected the inwardly projecting side panels interlock with the inwardly folded top panels to make the support for the upper tray stable.
