Abstract
Abstract Heat resistant compositions comprising a blend or mixture of petrolatum and a partially cross-linked polymer such as ptertiary-butylstyrene polymer cross-linked with dinvinylbenzene, which can also contain a multitude of hollow particles of a synthetic thermoplastic polymer such as a copolymer of styrene and acrylonitrile, are particularly useful as filler materials in cables such as communication cables.
