Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to acryloxy(or methacryloxy)alkyl(or alkyloxyalkyl) acryloxy(or methacryloxy)hydroxyalkyl organic polycarboxylic esters prepared by reacting an organic acid anhydride selected from the group consisting of trimellitic anhydride and pyromellitic anhydride with a hydroxyalkyl acrylate or methacrylate and then reacting this half-ester with a glycidyl acrylate or methacrylate. These compounds are useful in coating compositions and particularly coating compositions curable by radiation.
