Abstract Preparation of the captioned compounds - for example, 1-( Beta chloro-4-nitrophenethyl)imidazole oxalate - and their valuable biological properties - including antiulcerogenic, antibacterial, antiprotozoal, antifungal, antialgal, and antigerminant activities - are disclosed.
