Abstract
Abstract 3-Phenyl-5-alkylhydantoins and certain derivatives thereof are anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic agents and are prepared through cyclization of a phenylhydantoic acid or ester. A typical embodiment is 3-(p-fluorophenyl)-5-methylhydantoin.
