Abstract FINELY-GRAINED CERAMIC MAGNESIUM, ALUMINUM OR THORIUM OXIDE HAVING AN ACTUAL DENSITY APPROACHING THE THEORETICAL DENSITY IS PREPARED BY HEATING THE CORRESPONDING SUBSTANTIALLY PURE HYDROXIDE MAINTAINED AT A PRESSURE ABOVE 1500 P.S.I.
