Abstract THE INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD OF PRODUCING A TRANSISTOR, SUCH AS A CONTROL TRANSISTOR IN WHICH THE EMITTER REGIONS ARE FORMED BY DIFFUSUION THROUGH STRIP-LIKE APERTURES IN AN INSULATING LAYER ON A SEMICONDUCTOR BODY.
