Abstract AN ADHESIVELY LAMINATED KRAFT PAPER PRODUCT OF IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO RUPTURE IS FORMED FROM AT LEAST TWO SUPERPOSED KRAFT PAPER WEBS BONDED ONE TO THE OTHER WITH AN ADHESIVE DISPOSED BETWEEN SAID WEBS IN ACCORDANCE WITH A SELECTED PATTERN OF LINES. THE WEBS ARE BONDED TOGETHER IN LIMITED REGIONS BY SUBSTANTIAL UNBONDED REGIONS. EACH WEB IS IN A DIFFERENT CONDITION OF STRESS IN A COMMON DIRECTION IN THE PLANE OF THE PRODUCT.
