Abstract
Abstract Novel aliphatic hydrocarbon esters, acids and alcohols having a backbone of at least 12 carbon atoms, a lower alkyl group at C-3, C-7 and C-11 and unsaturation or saturation at C-2,3, C-6,7 and/or C-10,11 which are substituents with, for example, halo, hydroxy, methylene, oxido, dihalo-methylene, and the like, and the esters and ethers of said hydroxy substituent useful as arthropod maturation inhibitors.
