Abstract
Abstract A positioning device for aligning plates on a rollway and not relying on magnetic effects consists of guideways located between adjacent pairs of rollers and frames displaceable on said guideways having support wheels running on the guideways the upper surfaces of which are adapted to engage the plate from beneath to life it clear of the rollway and to deposit it on the rollway after correct alignment.
