Abstract A COMPRESSOR OF THE ECCENTRIC VANE TYPE IN WHICH A MIXTURE OF COMPRESSED AIR AND OIL IS DELIVERED THROUGH A NUMBER OF PORTS DISTRIBUTED ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE COMPRESSOR STATOR INTO A CHAMBER WHICH AFFORDS A SUMP AND A DEFLECTING WALL ON WHICH THE OIL IS DEPOSITED. THEREAFTER THE COMPRESSED AIR PASSES THROUGH A SEPARTOR WHICH REMOVES THE REMAINING OIL FROM IT.
