Abstract A SOLID ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELL OPERATING AT A HIGH TEMPERATURE, COMPRISISNG SEVERAL ELEMENTS ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED IN SERIES. THESE ELEMENTS ARE SUPPORTED BY ONE ELECTROLYTE TUBE, AND ONE END OF THE EXTERNAL ELECTRODE OF AN ELEMENT PROTRUDES SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE INTERNAL ELECTRODE OF THE FOL- LOWING ELEMENT. THIS ENABLES SIMPLIFIED ASSEMBLY AND A REDUCTION IN THE WEIGHT AND THE COST PRICE OF THE FUEL CELL.
