Claim 1
Independent Claim
99 words
In a system for testing electron discharge devices in which during certain tests, an alternating voltage is applied to the filament of an electron discharge device and during other tests, a direct voltage is applied to said filament, a simulator of an electron discharge device comprising, in combination: terminals receptive of a filament voltage; means coupled to said terminals for simulating, during the application of said direct voltage, leakage paths between electrodes of an electron discharge device; and means coupled to said terminals for simulating, during the application of said alternating voltage, abnormal operation of an electron discharge device.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
55 words
In a system as set forth in claim 1, said last-named means comprising a rectifier circuit for converting said alternating voltage to a direct current, and means including a storage means receptive of said direct current and a timing network, for producing time sequential output pulses simulative of abnormal operation of an electron discharge device.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
61 words
The combination of: a system for testing electron discharge devices in which a filament voltage is applied to the filament of said device during said tests; and a simulator of an electron discharge device responsive to said fiLament voltage for producing a plurality of time sequential output pulses simulative of successive arcs formed between internal electrodes of an electron discharge device.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
