Abstract
Abstract New compositions of matter which are reaction products of a phosphate ester containing active groups such as -OH, -NH2 and SH and sufficient phosphorus trihalide or phosphorus oxyhalide to produce a polymer which is used as a fire retardant in plastic compositions.
