Abstract
Abstract A ceramic dielectric composition consisting essentially of 45 to 95 mol percent of calcium titanate, 1 to 40 mol percent of lead titanate and 1 to 20 mol percent of lanthanum titanate is advantageous for use in temperature-compensating capacitors. Addition to the basic composition of 0.1 to 5 percent by weight of Ta2O5, WO3 or CdO has the effect of broadening the temperature range for maturation, thus facilitating control of the firing conditions in the manufacture of the ceramic body.
