Abstract
Abstract A method for the rapid and accurate determination of the hydrogen sulfide content of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon. The hydrogen sulfide in a known quantity of said hydrocarbon is dispersed into an ionic state and titrated with a standard cadmium salt solution to determine the hydrogen sulfide content of the hydrocarbon. A hydrogen sulfide analyzer for carrying out the method is also disclosed.
