Abstract THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO AQUEOUS DISPERSIONS OF TETRAFLUOROETHYLENE TELOMERS AND TO PROCESSES FOR PREPARING SUCH AQUEOUS DISPERSIONS FROM DISPERSIONS OF SUCH TELOMER IN TRICHLOROTRIFLUOROETHANE MEDIUMS. IN GENERAL, THE PROCESSES FOR PREPARING SUCH AQUEOUS DISPERSIONS COMPRISE ADDING A SOLVENT WHICH IS BOTH MISCIBLE WITH WATER AND THE TRICHLORFLUOROETHANE TO THE TRICHLOROTRIFLUOROETHANE DISPERSION, REMOVING THE TRICHLOROFLUOROETHANE, E.G., BY EVAPORATION, AND MIXING THE RESULTING DISPERSION WITH WATER IN THE PRESENCE OF A SUITABLE WETTING AGENT.
