Abstract

Abstract A variable resistance pad comprising a strip of conductive material which has a channel formed partly therein. Resistive material fills at least a portion of said channel which has a specified shape including a converging section. Electrical terminals are connected to the conductive material on opposite sides of the channel. The resistance may be varied by trimming away portions of the conductive material to decrease the channel length.
