Abstract
Abstract A method for detecting and quantitating submicrogram quantities of cannabinoids and their analogs in biological materials including blood plasma and urine. Detection system is based on the condensation of the cannabinoids with a polycarboxylic acid to give a highly fluorescent derivative, the intensity of the fluorescence being maximized in the pH range of 9-11.
