Abstract
Abstract A process for the simultaneous preparation of carbonyl sulfide and ammonium thiocyanate, which comprises heating and reacting urea with carbon disulfide at liquid phase, in aliphatic monohydric alcohol of one to four carbon atoms serving as the reaction medium.
