Abstract
Abstract Recording materials comprising at least one layer of a polymer which can be cross-linked by the action of light. The recording material can be very effectively spectroscopically sensitized, particularly in the visible region of the spectrum. The sensitizers include condensation products of a methyl mercapto quaternary salt or of an acetanilidovinyl quaternary salt of a heterocyclic base with a cyanothioacetamide compound in solvent with a base.
