Abstract A RESIN IMPREGNATED LAMINA STRUCTURAL MATERIAL INCLUDING GRAPHITE REINFORCING FIBERS AND INORGANIC PAPERSOR MATS SUCH AS ASBOSTOS, ASHESTOS-GLASS PAPERS OR MICA MAT. FABRICATION OF THE LAMINA IS ACCOMPLISHED BY IMPREGNATING THE CHRYSOTILE ASBESTOS PAPER OR MICA MAT WITH SYNTHETIC RESINOUS MATRICES USING SOLVENT, FILM, OR VACUUMPRESSURE IMPREGNATING TECHNIQUES AND LAMINATING THE HYBIRD LAMINA TO FORM LAMINATES HAVING IMPROVED THERMAL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES.
