Abstract MASKING COMPOSITIONS FOR STRIP PLATING OF METAL STOCK AND FOR ANODIZING OF METALLIC SURFACES ARE COMPOSED OF HIGH-MELTING MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX AND ORGANOPHILIC KAOLINITE BLENDED WITH ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER AND PENTAERYTHRITOL ABIETATE. THESE COMPOSITION ARE FLEXIBLE, TOUGH AND NONBLOCKING, COOL RAPIDLY TO SOLIDS, ADHER WELL TO METALS, HAVE GOOD DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES AND CAN BE CLEANLY REMOVED FROM METAL SURFACES.
